The Ghost of Severndroog – Coming Soon

An escape room adventure for all the family

As Severndroog Castle reopens its doors to the public, we bring you an exciting, socially-distanced safe family experience.

Step inside and find yourself immersed in a fantastical, historical mission to lay the ghost of Severndroog to rest, based on the true story and events of this castle’s rich history.

Let artefacts, treasure hunts, secret diaries and locked trunks, secret rooms and the hidden past of this mesmerising foley and it’s historical owners take you on an adventure like no other.

You will need your wits about you as you will travel through the whole castle via a staircase that goes on forever, lose all sense of direction and find yourself on top of the castle roof 132m above sea level with one of the best panoramic views of London.

For those of you a little scared of ghosts, this is not BOO! scary. There is something intriguing, puzzling, adventurous and fun for everyone.
We recommend Age 8+.

Rooted deep in colonial history, this castle hidden deep in the woods will remain haunted by the wrongdoings of its owners. As Severndroog Castle itself reflects on its relation to British colonial victory over the Indian Golden Fort of Suvarnadrug – this is a great time to visit and learn about the darker side of British colonisation, in support of Black Lives Matter and Black History Month.

At this time, we celebrate with Severndroog Castle the resilience & ingenuity of UK artists, inventors, culture and heritage to create engaging, quality, entertaining and educational work. We thank the Arts Council, National Lottery, Heritage Lottery for investing in our artists and cultural venues in this time.

Let’s get families’ social calendars buzzing and our well-being back on track whilst keeping ourselves and others safe.
