We recommend Age 8+.
Rooted deep in colonial history, this castle hidden deep in the woods will remain haunted by the wrongdoings of its owners. As Severndroog Castle itself reflects on its relation to British colonial victory over the Indian Golden Fort of Suvarnadrug – this is a great time to visit and learn about the darker side of British colonisation, in support of Black Lives Matter and Black History Month.
At this time, we celebrate with Severndroog Castle the resilience & ingenuity of UK artists, inventors, culture and heritage to create engaging, quality, entertaining and educational work. We thank the Arts Council, National Lottery, Heritage Lottery for investing in our artists and cultural venues in this time.
Let’s get families’ social calendars buzzing and our well-being back on track whilst keeping ourselves and others safe.
Severndroog Castle and TDLP put the safety of all participants and staff at the forefront of our activities. The Ghost of Severndroog is designed to be safe yet fun and sit within government guidelines that may change.
